Henna is generally safe for everyone. Although the henna paste used
is made from all natural ingredients (fresh henna powder, lemon,
sugar, and lavender essential oil), it is recommended that you check
with your care provider to be sure henna is safe for you. Do not use
henna if you have any of the following conditions:
- G6DP Deficiency (Glucose-6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase
Deficiency )
- Extreme Anemia
- Hyperbilirubinemia
- Any chronic or acute condition affecting your blood system or
immune system
Pregnancy Henna:
It is generally safe to use henna during a healthy pregnancy however
it is recommended that you check with your midwife or obstetrician
to be sure that neither you or your baby have any of the above listed
conditions.
